Travis West started Building Air Quality in 1989. At that time, the services provided involved reactive indoor air quality (IAQ) investigations in commercial buildings. Since that time however, the service offerings have grown to include proactive IAQ investigations, water damage surveys, thermal image reviews, environmental assessments of Federally occupied and Federally owned properties, water testing and analysis (domestic potable, cooling tower, water features), and myriad building science issues in failed and failing buildings.
The company (and Mr. West's skills) has grown within the general scope of indoor environmental quality in and around commercial office buildings. Focusing on the indoor environment has allowed Mr. West to interact with the individual(s) expressing concerns, and has helped him develop a sense of their anxiety, and how to address it. His clients appreciate the nature of the service he provides.
