Fees and Payments

Accredited certification is $500 for the first two-year term and $400 for each recertification period.

Vocational certification is $400 for the first two-year term and $300 for each recertification period.

These totals are combinations of the following fees:

Certification Fee: $400

  • Certification is for a two-year period.

  • Vocational certification fees (such as the CRMR) are $300.

  • All certification fees include a non-refundable $100 processing fee.

Examination Fee: $100

  • Only charged to those applicants taking an examination.

  • All certification and examination fees must be paid prior to taking the examination.

Re-certification Fee: $400

  • Re-certification is required every two years and requires documentation of continuing education.

  • Vocational recertification fees (such as CRMR) are $300.

  • All re-certification fees include a non-refundable $100 processing fee.

Re-examination Fee: $100

  • For those who failed a previous examination.

Re-instatement Fee: $100 

  • For those who fail to recertify before their certification's expiration date.

  • May be waived in cases of documented active military duty or medical issues.

Emeritus (Retired) Status: $100

  • Any certified individual may apply for emeritus status in their designation as long as he/she has retired from professional practice.

  • A photocopy of a current driver’s license must accompany the request for Emeritus status.

Digital Certification Seal (Optional): $50

  • A high-resolution image featuring the ACAC certification logo, certificant's name and certification expiration date.  May be resized as needed and pasted into reports, letterhead, websites, newsletters and all forms of marketing.

Multiple certification discount: 20%

  • Applies to application, administration, certification, and recertification fees for individuals holding multiple ACAC certifications. Does not apply to examination fees.
