Mr. McLeod specializes in building assessments and designing fundamental clinical testing for mold exposure and correlating the clinical findings to environments stressor in the living/work environment. Due to advances in clinical testing, we can now provide additional evidence to attorneys for connecting mold and chemical exposure in the living/working environments to personal insult/symptoms. Over the last 30 years Mr. McLeod has performed thousands of building inspection and remediation projects. He has been approved as an expert building mold inspector in civil suits and arbitration.

As the CEO of Indoor Environmental Systems Inc., Mr. McLeod has progressed from HVAC cleaning, sealing, filtering, humidification, dehumidification, ventilation, in-duct air filtration and purification to building science incorporating the thermal envelope, in/exfiltration of air/moisture, below grade moisture challenges from crawlspaces and basements and associated mold remediation. When working with clients that have toxic mold issues, such as CIRS and multiple chemicals sensitivity, he designs custom clearance protocols for re-occupancy based on their needs, which may be associated with Dr. Shoemaker CIRS protocol.

In dealing with health and legal cases we combine forensic building assessment with personal clinical tests to present a cause-and-effect relationship from Water Damaged, Sick, and Tight Buildings to specific Building Related Illness. Indoor Environmental Systems Inc. network of building engineers, industrial hygienist, attorneys, and doctors are available for expert commentary. As often it’s the best team that wins the case. Mr. McLeod's purpose is to assist clients in evaluating the indoor environmental conditions as he addresses the following: IAQ, water quality, EMF, lighting, and other environmental stressors.

As an CIEC Mr. McLeod provides assessments and protocols for Sick/Tight Building Syndrome, Water Damaged Buildings, and specific Building Related Illnesses. He designs and reviews protocols for inspections, remediation, and clearance for water/mold damaged buildings. In addition to facilitating clinical testing for toxic loads and physiological impact to occupants.
